There was a time when minivans were the preferred type of vehicle for families, but that's no longer the case today. Nowadays, you can count the number of models representing this category on the fingers of one hand, and the Honda Odyssey will continue to be one of them for the 2025 lineup.

The manufacturer has just officially introduced the 2025 Odyssey to the Canadian market. While there are no major new features on the agenda, the Japanese minivan benefits from several small improvements that will make it even more appealing in 2025.

Good Value for Money

The 2025 Honda Odyssey lineup consists of four different versions. First, there's the Sport trim, which also serves as the entry-level version with a starting price of $52,056. This is far from affordable for all budgets, but you get a very competitive product for this amount. The Odyssey notably features a 7-inch instrumentation screen, a power sunroof, and standard heated seats.

Next is the Sport-L version starting at $55,056. Here, you get a higher-end finish, leather in several places, and ambient lighting. The following version is the Touring at $60,456. Starting with this version, you get an integrated navigation system, a cabin monitoring system, and ventilated front seats. This version has always been one of the most popular in the lineup, and it's easy to see why.

Finally, the Black Edition sits at the top of the range with a starting price of $62,256. Here, the exclusive finish is highlighted.

For the rest, the Japanese manufacturer's minivan features aesthetic updates. The grille has been slightly reworked. In fact, the brand's designers took inspiration from the legendary NSX to redesign the rear bumper of the Odyssey.

A Single Engine

Unsurprisingly, the Honda Odyssey retains its legendary 3.5-liter V6 engine. This engine delivers 280 horsepower and is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Honda announces an average fuel consumption of 10.6L/100km for the model, which remains very competitive for a vehicle of this size.

The 2025 Honda Odyssey is expected to arrive in dealerships this coming winter, according to the Japanese manufacturer.
